Manufactured by the Fox Typewriter Co. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, this understrike model was elegantly decorated with a fox decal on its paper table and gold scroll work on both sides. It was later followed by a frontstrike visible, a folding portable and a standard three bank portable carrying the name Sterling.
